Our mission
We are a group of scientists and clinicians committed to reducing the global impact of bacterial infectious diseases. Based in the Department of Zoology at the University of Oxford, we use a multidisciplinary approach that has a whole-organism conceptual framework founded on a synthesis of genetics, biochemistry, ecology, and evolutionary biology. Our goal is to to conduct cutting-edge research that can be applied directly for public health benefit. As an academic group we are strongly committed to education and training both in Oxford and beyond.
